CHILI-CHEESE MASHED POTATOES

CHILI-CHEESE MASHED POTATOES
2-3/4 cups water
1 cup milk
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1 T butter or margarine
3 garlic cloves, minced
3 cups instant mashed potato flakes
2 (4-oz.) cans chopped green chilies
1 cup shredded Mexican blend or Cheddar cheese

In a large saucepan, bring the water, milk, and salt to a boil. Add the butter, garlic, potato flakes and chilies; stir until thickened. Sprinkle with cheese.

Yield: 6 servings.
