CRAZY GERMAN APPLESAUCE MEATLOAF


1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
½ lb. ground pork
½ cup onion, finally diced
1 cup applesauce
1-cup bread crumbs
3 Tbsp. ketchup
2 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. black pepper

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly oil a 9-x-5 inch loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.

3. Place the meatloaf mixture in the prepared pan.

4. Bake for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

5. Let cool 10-15 minutes. Turn the loaf out of the pan. Slice and serve.

Yield: 8 servings.
