ITALIAN STYLE MEATLOAF I

ITALIAN STYLE MEATLOAF I
"Serve with buttered pasta and a green salad"

1-1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs, beaten
¾ cup dry breadcrumbs
¼ cup ketchup
1 tsp. Italian-style seasoning
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes, drained
1-1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 350^.

In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, and ketchup. Season with Italian-style seasonings, oregano, basil, garlic salt, diced tomatoes and cheese. Press into a 9x5-in. loaf pan, and cover loosely with foil.

Bake in a preheated oven approximately 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 160^.

Yield: 6 servings.
